Most private-chef bookings in Sotogrande are for low-rise estate homes spread between the marina, the polo fields and La Reserva — built for long international summers. The chef arrives mid-afternoon, takes the kitchen, cooks, serves, and leaves it as it was found. Open Atlantic breezes, polo from July, golf year-round; the rhythm is slower than the Marbella stretch.
